The Course: BSc (Hons) Computer Science.
Why? An engineering approach (CDIO). You learn to build the infrastructure (the “pipelines”) that transport data. Highly requested by banks and telcos.
Access is more direct than you might think. No endless competitive exams (concours), but a selection based on your file.
The Baccalauréat: An overall average of 10/20 to 12/20 is often enough for direct entry into Year 1.
Note: For Data Science, a decent grade in Mathematics at the Bac is required (often 12+).
English: This is often the #1 barrier.
Most universities ask for an IELTS (6.0).
